
GLSS Dinghyfest is ON!
X’s - Monday Aug. 10 – Tuesday Aug 11
Opti’s – Wednesday Aug 12 – Thursday Aug 13
M14’s – Wednesday Aug 12 – Thursday Aug 13
X’s - Monday Aug. 10 – Tuesday Aug 11
- All YC’s will be assigned a launching location and kept together
- Fontana (15 X’s), Williams Bay (20 X’s w/ possible moorings), South Shore Club (15 X’s, launch Sunday from LGYC)
- Following registration (which will go live in the next two weeks), launch assignments and parking maps will be issued.
- No food will be available or served from LGYC and the GLSS/LGYC facility will be closed to participants except GLSS sailors.
- Lunch break will be on the water with time for teams to run to use restrooms as needed
- Emergency, portable restrooms will be available on the LGYC grounds near the waterfront, as well as at Williams Bay and Fontana
- 7 races scheduled (4 Monday, 3 Tuesday)
- Sailors and support personnel will be required to wear face coverings while on land and piers. All participants will be required to sign releases and waivers in regards to LGYC and GLSS, along with our Attestation & Infection Protocols, plus Sailors and Parents Code(s) of Conduct
- Support personnel limited to one adult per sailor.
Opti’s – Wednesday Aug 12 – Thursday Aug 13
- All Opti’s will be assigned a socially distanced rigging location in a numbered parking spot
- No food will be available or served from LGYC and the GLSS/LGYC facility will be closed to participants except GLSS sailors.
- Portable restrooms will be available on the LGYC grounds near the waterfront
- Sailors and support personnel will be required to wear face coverings while on land and piers. All participants will be required to sign releases and waivers in regards to LGYC and GLSS, along with our Attestation & Infection Protocols, plus Sailors and Parents Code(s) of Conduct
- Support personnel limited to one adult per boat.
M14’s – Wednesday Aug 12 – Thursday Aug 13
- All M14’s will be assigned a socially distanced rigging location on the lawn
- No food will be available or served from LGYC and the GLSS/LGYC facility will be closed to participants except GLSS sailors.
- Portable restrooms will be available on the LGYC grounds near the waterfront
