In the spring of 2022 the GLSS Purchased a fleet of six Melges 15 sailboats to include the newly named "Boat of the Year" into our program. The boats are currently available for youth sailors during the GLSS M15 program on Thursday and Friday and for LGYC members to use during Club B Series races on Saturday. The boats can be chartered for Regattas in the region and for individual use during camp hours. GLSS will also host an annual Open Spring Regatta for the M15 fleet.

The Melges 15 fleet also became a part of our offseason Buddy Melges Racing Team. We support our sailors at the M15 Winter series in Jensen Beach. FL, where we organize practices and provide coaching on racing days.
